  1. Please pray for my friend and her two daughters who are staying with us temporarily as they leave an abusive living situation and alcoholic husband/father...pray for her strength to stay gone, for the husband/father's healing, for a new home for them all, and for my husband and kids and I to make life as happy and easy as possible for them until they can move on peacefully and properly. My friend was just baptized on Easter, and I pray for God to use this upheaval to bring her closer to him. I love the care and generosity you ladies have for us out here, thank you for your prayers.

    1. Lord, you know all the details of Roxanne's friend's situation and you have a wonderful plan in place for her. I pray that nothing hinders your perfect will for them. Grant Roxanne's friend a delight in her new relationship with you, may she find in you all that she has lacked. I pray for her husband that he will come to a place where he has no where to go but to you and I pray that he will be convicted and find salvation. If this family can be restored and blessed together - what glory that would be to you! But you know what will be, and I pray that you provide what this mother and daughters need to live in peace and safety - free from fear and abuse. Wrap them in your love and may their wounded hearts find healing. I pray too for Roxanne and her family, that they will in wisdom and love be able to fill their friend and daughters with joy and hope once again. Bless them all for your glory, and may they be awed with thanksgiving with all that you will do. In Jesus' name, amen.

  3. Please pray for me. I am returning to work after a mat leave. I will be returning part time but I've lost my job that I love and have to return to a role I have experience in but needed a break from. I feel sad that I won't be working in my passion area anymore. I feel embarassed as if it looks like I couldn't do the role I loved. I am also nervous that I have to work on a team with people whom I don't trust to give good advice or treat me fairly. I have limited patience with my children and feel overwhelmed with my household duties. I also feel very lonely. I don't have any mom friends who parent like me. I guess I'm just sad, fearful, lonely, lack confidence and am fatigued. I need help.

  4. Please pray for my son. His ex girlfriend is trying to manipulate things to where he can't see his own son. Her family is not happy with her running from man to man. But they enable and do nothing. It looks like a long terrible court situation and no one can trust anyone. We are usually my husband and I not involved but feel we must be truth and light. It seems stacked against us as even speaking to this girl results in she calls police she's like almost mentally unstable. It needs a lot of prayer and to work out for the child and for our son and for us to not become angry. We need prayer for the exact right legal person to hire.
Thank you they are all in Pennsylvania and we live in another state far away so it's even more difficult.
    Thank you so much.

    1. Lord, I know how your heart aches at the troubles we create because we do not follow your commandments given to instruct us how to live the happy fulfilled lives you desire for us. Yet, I am ever so grateful that you never turn away from us but when we call on you, you turn even our wrong choices into good, and you offer complete forgiveness. I bring this family before you, and I know you know every detail of their heartache and the issues they are dealing with... You also know this girl that is making a difficult situation seemingly impossibly painful. I pray first for this x-girlfriend who is using the child to hurt others- I pray that you cause her to recognize that she is hurting the one she needs to put first - her son. May her heart soften and may she be willing to do what is good and right. Bring the right people into her life that will be able to speak to her in a way that she will hear. If it is medical/psychological help she needs may that become evident to her family or friends. I pray for the father of this child that he will seek wisdom from God and deal with love with his x-girlfriend - difficult though it be - for the sake of his son. I pray for the parents - I thank you that they are praying parents and know to whom to bring their burden, hurt and despair. Give them a profound wisdom to know what to do and how and when. May YOU write the end to this story ... and may it be one that brings glory to you. And Lord, I know the child is close to your heart, I pray that you put a hedge of protection around him, that no harm come to him. Give him a 'knowing' of who you are and may he even at a young age seek to know you. Only you know the answers in this sad situation and we trust you to work it out for a good end. In Jesus' name, amen.

(note to Anonymous - I just yesterday read a true story of almost the exact same situation, the only difference was that the child was a girl and the son had married the mother -- It took almost 2 years but with unceasing prayer and love the situation turned completely around - to the point that the young mother said she trusted her mother in law more than her own mother to care for her children. A miracle only God could do.)

  5. I know its only temporary but prayer for strength for my marriage would be a blessing in the time we're going through. Bills are too tight and food is running dry. Our son won't go hungry by any means but it's all stressful and my husband and I keep picking on each other because of it. Thank you.

    1. Father, I pray for this family going through a 'dry' financial spell, and I know what that feels like, how easily financial lack feeds our fear and worry. Yet, I have learned that no matter how bleak it looks you have the provisions in your hand so ready to give and bless out of your riches in glory. I pray that this will be a life-season that this couple will look back on as the time they saw how true your promise is to meet our every need. May this be a time of growing in faith, not shrinking! May it be a time they pull together, not apart, a time they treasure their love and relationship. May their marriage grow stronger. May it be a time of learning to be thankful for things we so easily take for granted in time of plenty. May your peace fill their hearts and your love reign in their home. Bless them coming in and going out, in Jesus' name I ask, amen.

    1. Oh Lord, how to pray! My heart grieves with this distraught mother, and pains with the wife and children. I pray for this son that his eyes would be opened and he would be filled with disgust and conviction over what he is doing to his family. May Brian recognize that the road he has taken is one that only leads to destruction of the things that are most precious in his life - his children and the mother of his children. May he have sleepless nights, tormented days, may the things that tempted him decay at his feet - until he comes to himself and repents with sorrow. May he become the man you have called him to be and may this family be restored ! I pray for Brian's mother - comfort her heart even as she prays for her son and his family. Give her wisdom to act/respond in supportive ways. Prepare Brian's wife heart ... heal her and may she find forgiveness toward her husband when he repents. And protect the children that they will be covered by your care and love through this - comfort their hearts. Oh .. Lord, may you work miracles in this family .. I pray ! in Jesus' name - who alone CAN - amen.

Please pray that the mistake will not be as bad as it seems, and that all will not be lost. We're scared and trying not to go to the worst case scenario but it's hard.

I pray that you work things out in your miraculous way that will leave this couple stunned with your ingenuity and creativity. May this not be the disaster it appears but rather just an 'excuse' for you to show them your loving and protective care over them. Fill them with your peace, take away their anxiety. May this work out for a celebration of thanksgiving, giving you ALL the glory. Bless this couple and their company with your abundance. in Jesus name I plead, amen !

  8. Hello ladies,

I've been blessed to receive prayer from you in the past, and I'm coming to you again for support. Two friends, beautiful, powerful women that I love very much, are hurting because their relationships have broken up and they're putting together the pieces now. One friend is living with us, with her two girls. The other is a coworker and our kids also go to the same school. Their partners have abused them, their finances are uncertain, and their co-parenting situations are complicated. Both husbands are alcoholics who are struggling with their addiction. Please pray for strength for my friends, and for good outcomes for their young kids. Please pray that the husbands can recognize what their drinking has cost them, and can change their lives. Please pray that my friend who's living with us gets the place she's applied for (she should find out today). And please pray that my husband and I can be strong, reliable friends as they're hurting. Thank you all so much for always listening and always helping.

    1. Father, I stand before you interceding for these two families that are broken. I pray for the husbands that you would bring them to the end of themselves where they will recognize their need of you and realize what they have lost ... Work in their hearts, stir up in them a desperate love for their families and a 'new' desire to be what their wives and children need - fill them with disgust for the alcohol that has stolen so much from them. I pray for the wives and the dear children, I pray Lord that you would sustain them, cover them with your love and meet every need .. Protect them from bitterness, anger and despair, may they see your ever present love and grace ever them. Strengthen them and may they have your wisdom in decisions and choices they must now make. Put a hedge around the children that they will be protected from harm. I thank for this couple that has been there for them and I pray a special blessing upon them for the strength, wisdom and resources they need to stand in the gap and be a support to their friends. Work your good in all of the details, and may your perfect will unfold into your plan for them for good and not evil. Thank you, Father, that you are ever ready and able to hear and answer our cries to you for help. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

  9. Please pray for my mom, dad, sister, and for me. A severe crisis in my early childhood shattered my family, although we stayed together and soldiered on! Just recently, each of us has begun to dwell in the pain of that time, and face the wounds we each carried forward. My sister and I are adults, my parents are seniors, but we are each searching for peace and deep, true healing. No more band-aids, no more brave faces to mask hurting hearts. Personally, I am haunted a bit about the experience of being the unwanted child, not able to find comfort, or receive nurturing at home. A little prayer would be welcomed!

    1. Lord, I am reminded of Psalm 27:10 that says "if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close." Father, you know the heart of this one who feels like she was the unwanted child, and yet, ohhh how your heart yearned for her, how you love her! She is not unwanted. I pray that you fill her heart with the assurance of your love, the security of your peace and may she find a safe refuge in you, a healing of her wounds. I pray that you work in this family that they may lay the past where it should go, in the past, and may they build a better future, treasuring each other, forgiving and receiving forgiveness. May there be a supernatural restoration of relationships. .. May you be glorified, O Lord ! in Jesus holy name, who longs for unity and harmony - us with Him and with each other. Amen.

I pray for this dear one that has so suddenly lost a precious aunt who she was so close to. She feels the loss deeply but you are the great Comforter. I ask that you take her grieving emotions and infuse them with hope -- hope knowing that she will see her aunt again and then there will be no more good-byes. May her memories of her aunt warm her heart - may she know her aunt is not 'gone' only 'away' - and that temporarily. Fill those empty places in her life with meaning and satisfying purposes. May the life her aunt lived, the example she modeled be the footsteps her niece follows in. May her aunt's influence now give her strength to lean on. 20. I was happy to see this request a prayer. Though completely unhappy with the situation. A dear friend of mine who is a living angel has been in hospital for several weeks now. She has had one incredibly difficult life but never lost her faith. I can't go on with all the reasons she is wonderful due to the list being so long but she is the most pure person I've ever known. She is giving and caring and ever so generous. I love her so much. I found out she has cancerous brain tumours and they can't do anything. I can't lose her. I've lost so many this year. 2017 has been awful. It would take a while to go through it all but right now I need a miracle. I was shocked by myself for I lost emotional control and started screaming and begging God not to take her from us. Not yet! Please pray for a miracle. I need one right now. Thank you so much and God bless!

    5. Lord, we pray for Edward who is suffering with Parkinson's disease and grieving for his wife. We know we cannot escape suffering in this earthly life but it is so hard to watch our loved ones suffer. We know that you are the Healer and desire wholeness for your children. I pray that you bring healing to Edward's body, that his suffering is eased and that he can be there for his children in the days that you give him until he joins his wife again. Bless this family, comfort their hearts and give them joy in being together. In Jesus' name, amen.

    6. PRAISE REPORT: I am thanking you again sisters (Mennonite girls) for praying for my father, Edward. After asking for prayers, and after dad was hospitalized for not swallowing at all for six days, he got out of being asleep for days without eating; the IV's were used and yesterday he opened his eyes, and started swallowing his food. We were all amazed. Doctors gathered all the immediate family and he back on alertness. Praised God! We were lifted again. Keep up the prayers for dad for us.

  26. Greetings - I could just use a little extra selfish prayer for myself. For some reason, my chemistry must be "off" - I am a total nervous wreak about everything, worrying needlessly until I'm losing focus and not enjoying life. Life has been overwhelming with college kids, bills, money woes, etc. Nothing is for lack of trying - we are all working hard, but us old parents are worn out. Please pray to bring me/us back to "normal" - my focus where I didn't sweat the small stuff like I am now for some reason. That...and severe empty nest syndrome even though work is keeping me very busy. That longing for the kids to be little again, it almost makes you ache - actually, it does. Please help me focus on all the great things ahead, instead of wishing the past would come back - it is kind of messing up my focus! LOL I appreciate all you Ladies do so much. Thank you.

    1. Lord, it is always a privilege to come alongside someone who needs a shoulder to lean on. I bring this 'worrier' before your throne of grace and I know you are already aware of the things that are overwhelming to her. I pray, Father, that you impress upon her heart that it is really not needful that BOTH of you worry about things .. and seeing you have already taken care of the needs she is anxious about, may she heave a sigh of relief and rest in your peace. May the letting go of the things you have promised to provide result in the joy of living returning to her heart and mind! May she fix her focus on YOU and find that all other things then come into focus. May she see the best is yet to come. It is something I have to keep reminding myself of, now that my sweet little grandgirls are grown up! My heart warms to this dear lady - I know if I met her, I would love her .. and I know you delight in her! Bless her from head to toe as only you can, in Jesus' precious name, amen.

    2. Dear Anonymous, I want you to know that you are not alone in your feelings as you face this new stage in your life because I can remember how, for the first time in my life, I did not like the season I was in. As the kids grew, there was always something about the stage I was in that I loved but when they started leaving, it felt so final and it was hard. I want to encourage you with the reality that it is only a stepping stone to another season that is beautiful in it's own way. I would not want to go back now and love being where I'm at now. It is easy to forget how it felt, but I know God answered my prayers in making this season beautiful, meaningful and rewarding. May God bless you!

  32. I hope you might consider praying for my son Jamie. He is very stressed and overwhelmed right now. His rent on his apartment is going up almost $400 Oct.1. He will be unable to afford that. He has been trying to look for another apartment but no luck. Rents have skyrocketed here. Also he thinks he won't have a job much longer. Most of the employees have already quit. He doesn't get paid for all hours he works. Needless to say very stressful. We have offered to have him move back home. But I don't think he wants to. He is 42 and lives alone. He is a good man. I wish he didn't have to struggle so.
    Thank you so much.

I pray, Father, that you not only provide a home Jamie can afford but also a good job that will provide for all his financial needs, May it be a job that will be one that he will enjoy - a job that becomes more than just a 'job'. My husband has more faith than anyone I've ever known but even he is feeling a little weary and down-trodden right now. This Thursday, we'll receive biopsy results that will hopefully, finally come back clean. Then again on Friday, we'll receive more biopsy results and are really hoping that those tests will find him completely healed, as well. I'm trying so hard to be calm and gentle and patient but I just know how much of our future and my husband's life depend on those results. I'm so grateful for your heart-felt ministry. I pray that the test results on Thursday will be clean and show no disease in his body. Love through them and cause there to be much fruit as a result of them having moved into the neighbourhood. Also I ask that their condo would sell so that they are freed financially and can put the worry about making ends meet behind them and focus on the purposes you have for them. Bless them, O Lord, abundantly and beyond and make them a blessing to all who come into their lives. Thank you for this couple that have put you first in their hearts. In Jesus' name, amen.

But, it seems like Brian is wanting to be with this lady he's with now. I'm still praying he will go back to his wife, and his children. There is family issues on the wife's side of the family that don't want him in the house. They all live together with the wife's parents due to no house of their own. That's why my son moved out and somewhere along the line he had found this lady to be his girlfriend and living with her. I really don't know what happened with the family issues. I just want them to go back together. I really don't want to meet this lady my son's going around with; I did not accept her into my family. What she did is wrong (adultery) I'm still upset all about this. Please continue to pray for my son Brian.

You know Brian, and while the enemy and his own sin has a hold on his life, your power is so much greater. I pray that you cause circumstances or whatever it will take to bring Brian to a place of sorrowful repentance, a place where he recognizes that what he tossed aside - the love of his mother, his wife and children - was what had the greatest value, and what he thought he gained is but gold dust that the wind blows away. Lord, I ask that you will be glorified in Brian's life and that his family will be re-united. What is impossible to man , is possible with you ! You are the God who restores what the canker-worm has eaten, you have mercy where sin has ravished, you take hearts of stone and give hearts of flesh.
